Managers and Parents,
As we approach the end of the regular season we will begin the All-Star selection process for kids that are League Age 9, 10, 11, and 12. We want to identify the kids that are available to be nominated for selection. The PDF form below outlines the timing of the Tournaments, the commitment needed to be considered, and the minimum playing time. Please fill this out and return back to your team manager if you would like your child to be considered for nomination/selection for All-Stars. The deadline to return this to your Manager is May 15th.
All Stars Verification of Availability FormAll Star VotingThe All Star selection process is outlined in our Ground Rules. The Player Agent will pass out ballots for the kids to vote on 6 players from each age group to be selected for All-Stars (Majors players will vote 6 eleven year olds, and 6 twelve year olds, AAA players will vote 6 ten year olds, and 6 nine year olds). Managers will vote on the remaining 6 players for each age group.
Timeline
- Availability Forms received and reviewed by the Board committee by Friday May 15th.
- Ballots issued to players by Player Agent starting Saturday May 4th to the Majors and AAA teams.
- Player Votes tallied and recorded by Player Agent.
- All Star selection meeting for team MANAGERS ONLY TBD, times and venue to follow.
- All star selections will be announced on June 1st per little league rules
- This timeline will be modified as needed.
All Star Manager Selection ProcessAll managers and/or coaches interested in managing or helping with all stars must send a note to the president of ULL. The note should include experience and philosophy regarding coaching All-Stars, and they must have managed or coached in AAA (9 or 10 year old team) or Majors (11 or 12 year old team). Per D12 rules, the President submits his/her choices to the Board for approval. Managers and coaches will be announced after the teams have been selected.
