Purpose
For divisions AA thru Juniors, Evaluation day is designed to give the players a chance to demonstrate their skill level to the prospective Managers in their designated division. The goal is for the Managers to have a chance to evaluate all players, but, particularly those who are new to the league or new to baseball. With this information, we hope the Managers can draft teams that are balanced with player size and skill level, leading to a competitive, fun, Little League season.
- Evaluations do not apply to T-Ball or A division
- or if a division will have only a single team.
- This is not a try-out, All players will be placed on a team
- Typically evaluations last 90min, up to 2-hours.
- Encourage your player to simply do their best and follow instructions.
- There will be a wide range of skill levels on any given field.
- Note: a player may be placed in a different division than they were evaluated for, based on registration numbers, safety concerns, age, or skill set.
Check-in
Check-in will be located by the ULL Snack Shack. Here your player will receive their assigned number for evaluation, and then will proceed to their prospective playing field and begin to warm-up.
